I have a Dell Inspiron desktop, with windows 10 loaded. Yesterday the keyboard and mouse stopped working both test fine on another computer. I cant get to windows, I cant enter my password. I cant even see the mouse pointer. I cant get to recovery mode. I cant get to safe mode. This tutorial from the tenforums.

SSD drives. Cakewalk by BandLab and Studio One 4. Have same problem and tried swapping keyboard and mouse to another PC and both work fine. Ports work.

WIndows detect both device but once booted neither works just message that device detected and ready to use. My Dell Inspiron all-in-one has the same problem. My touchscreen and the mouse do not work, but my keyboard does.

That way, if there's a trending problem for a specific model, we might be able to get our Dell tech contacts to have a closer look. But without knowing if multiple users have the same problem with a specific model, it's unlikely they'll look into it. Had to go into safe mode and remove the last update. Dell doesn't test MS updates before they're pushed at us, so this is entirely on MS I've tried a keyboard and mouse from another computer and it still doesn't work.

It was able to recognize a wireless mouse, so go figure. In the control settings the computer can see the devices but says the "driver is unavailable. What is the best solution to this issue? If it's the wireless mouse, did you install the driver that came with it? If it's a Logitech wireless, go to their site and look for a driver.

Our other servers are virtual, and the recent server is physical presentation server.

The issue is only with this new physical server. We have 6 nodes and the mouse "lockup" happens very infrequently, however when we disable 3 of the 6 it happens within a couple of hours of users logging in.

Have clients ranging from Program Neighborhood 10 to Receiver 3. Have never had it happen in XenDesktop 5.

Sometimes when we disconnect the user it disconnects quickly sometimes it takes up to minutes.We have one user who has citrix 'lockup' on their home computer regularly. The computer hasn't frozen per say as the clock still changes but it's useless without an input device. Even when I log off their session remotely, it closes on their end but they still don't have keyboard and mouse control and they need to do a power cycle. We don't have any other users with this issue and it only happens on their home computer.

Unplugging the mouse and power cycling the keyboard doesn't make a difference. Any ideas what could be causing this and if it's a citrix issue or a computer issue? Sounds like a computer issue with the mouse falling asleep to save battery or something. Have them switch to a wired kb and mouse, see what happens. I had them switch to a wired mouse a few months ago but it didn't make a difference. They are still using the bluetooth keyboard though.

I wouldn't think they would be tied together. So the issue only occurs when they are using Citrix or its only noticed because that's when they use the home computer for long periods of time?

As this is a home system, is the user savvy enough to update all the drivers from Dell? And also checked for manufacturer updates for the mouse and keyboard?

The application is a RDS desktop session. After disconnecting from the session, and reconnecting mouse input is restored. Did you find the cause of this problem? So far I established: - Serverside session is fine, there is no change in running processes after reconnecting - Client does not need to be reboot, no re-login is needed just clicking the application again helps Any suggestions?

Please try the following: verify the client-address in your Citrix Delivery Services Console. Is it correct or does it show a local loopback address Which Receiver Version do you use?

Hi Markus, Thanks for reply'ing! I checked sessions across two environments. Sessions show the real endpoint IP, not Receiver versions differ, however the problem also occured using version 4. Could you explain me what you did to solve the problem that seems to be working so far?

Thanks, Remco. Hi Remco, you're welcome! Our first problem consists of the wrong shown IP for some of our clients. This was caused by our proxy settings. The old squid server in our environment has worked fine with the old presentation server 4. After disabling the proxy settings the IP shows up with the real endpoint IP.I do not have a lot of specifics about this problem as no errors actually arise, just hoping someone has experienced this issue and has a fix.

We have two computers in our company, that I know of, which have a very odd bug. When opening some applications, most notably Citrix Receiver, the mouse will just drop stop working.

The keyboard continues to work fine, but the mouse just disappears almost as if its been unplugged. The keyboard will continue to work as normal and the computer has no other issues. To retrieve the mouse you must restart the computer. We have tried to reinstall the applications, reinstall the mouse driver, make sure all updates are installed, verify the latest version of. The ultimate solution would most likely be to reformat the PC and start over. Unfortunately, that has not been an option for these particular PC's.

Not to mention, this is driving me nuts Both machines are Windows 7 Professional. PC's are different models but both HP's. PC's have different hardware and different specs. Can't remember which key now but it's either ctrl or alt makes the curser appear again and move. But won't move without holding the key. Great suggestion though, thanks. Very interesting, cant say I have ever tried holding down ctrlVersions of Citrix Receiver for Windows 4. You can now use multiple monitors with different DPI setting. If using a Windows 8.
